Trump Confirms Ali Khamenei Killed in Joint U.S.–Israel Operation
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, is dead following a coordinated military operation between the United States and Israel.
In a strongly worded statement, Trump described Khamenei as “one of the most evil people in history” and said his death represents justice not only for the people of Iran but also for Americans and others worldwide whom he accused Khamenei of harming.
Trump revealed that advanced U.S. intelligence and tracking systems played a decisive role in locating and eliminating the Iranian leader. He further asserted that several other Iranian leaders were killed in the same operation.
According to Trump, the strike presents “the single greatest chance” for the Iranian people to reclaim control of their country. He said there are reports suggesting that elements within Iran’s security establishment, including members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, no longer wish to continue fighting and may seek immunity.
“As I said last night, ‘Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death,’” Trump stated, indicating that further military action would continue unless Iranian forces shift their position.
Trump added that heavy and “pinpoint” bombing operations would proceed throughout the week or as long as necessary to achieve “peace throughout the Middle East and, indeed, the world.”

Multiple sources have now reported the death of Ali Khamenei, including Iranian state television outlets.
In one broadcast, translated by Reuters, the network declared: “Leader and Imam of the Muslims, His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, on the path of upholding the exaltation of the sacred sanctuary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, drank the sweet, pure draught of martyrdom and joined the Supreme Heavenly Kingdom.”
The situation marks one of the most significant geopolitical developments in recent Middle Eastern history and could dramatically reshape the balance of power in the region.
