Assassination Plot Revealed: Equipping the Persecuted Names Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo and Solomon Dalyop Mwantiri as Targets

Intelligence places Jos South on high alert as Fulani terrorists reportedly compile hit lists targeting outspoken Christian leaders and rights advocates in Plateau State

Abuja, Nigeria – December 30, 2025

Equipping the Persecuted, a mission organization dedicated to stopping the persecution of Christians in Nigeria, has released an alarming terror alert detailing credible assassination plots targeted at “Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo, and Solomon Dalyop Mwantiri.

The organization also raised alarms about a coordinated mass attack planned against Christian communities in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The intelligence, sourced from TruthNigeria, places the region on high alert and calls for immediate security intervention.

According to the report, armed Fulani terrorists are preparing coordinated assaults on multiple communities in the Kuru District, including Farin Lamba in Turu, the Kuru Trade Center, and Kwata.

While the attackers reportedly frame the planned violence as “retaliation” for an alleged December 27 robbery involving Fulani traders, intelligence sources indicate that the operations align with a broader pattern of territorial expansion and ideological violence long associated with attacks on indigenous Christian populations in Plateau State.

The threat assessment outlines the Fulani terrorists’ expected use of shoot-and-run tactics, relying on minibuses or sedans to maintain high mobility, strike swiftly, and evade capture. Such methods mirror previous attacks in the region, where rapid assaults have left communities devastated before security forces could respond.

Most disturbing is the revelation of a targeted assassination list. Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo, a Jos-based Christian preacher widely known for his outspoken condemnation of Islamic extremism and his role in exposing the ongoing Christian genocide in Nigeria by Fulani terrorists, has been identified as a primary target.

Also named is Solomon Dalyop Mwantiri, a human rights attorney and President of the Berom Youth Association, further suggesting a deliberate effort to silence influential Christian voices and dismantle community leadership through terror.

Intelligence sources further indicate that these planned attacks are being coordinated from seized territories, formerly Christian towns that have since become terrorist-controlled no-go zones. These areas reportedly now function as operational bases, enabling Fulani terrorists to launch repeated assaults while enjoying near-total impunity.

In response to the imminent threat, Equipping the Persecuted has urged residents and community leaders to activate neighborhood watch systems, closely monitor entry and exit points, and remain alert to unfamiliar vehicles, particularly minibuses and sedans.

Non-essential movement after dusk should be avoided, especially along isolated roads between Kuru and Jos. High-profile individuals, especially those named in the intelligence, have been advised to vary daily routines, strengthen personal security, and consider temporary relocation to safer areas.

Security agencies have been called upon to immediately increase patrols along the Kuru–Jos axis, conduct intelligence-led raids in identified no-go zones, and establish unpredictable checkpoints on routes leading into vulnerable communities such as Farin Lamba and Kwata.

The report emphasizes that proactive action, rather than reactive response, will be critical in preventing loss of life.

Residents have been strongly urged to report any suspicious vehicles, movements, or gatherings of unknown individuals to the nearest security outpost or Plateau State emergency lines without delay.

As tensions rise, the alert serves as a grim reminder that the campaign of violence against Christians in Nigeria is not only ongoing but increasingly targeted, calculated, and deadly.

Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo had only recently officiated the burial of victims of Fulani terrorism when new intelligence revealed that his life itself is now under direct threat.

During the burial ceremony, the Jos-based preacher used the solemn moment not for silence, but for resolve, urging more Nigerians to speak out against the ongoing slaughter of Christians across the country.

He warned that silence has become an accomplice to bloodshed and openly acknowledged that he has come under sustained attack for his advocacy, including digital suppression. Pastor Dachomo disclosed that his Facebook access was blocked, a move he believes is part of a broader effort to mute voices exposing the genocide against Christians in Nigeria.

The revelation of a hit list containing the names of Nigerians who have consistently spoken out against the Christian genocide marks a chilling escalation in the crisis.

It underscores not only the organized nature of the violence, but also the deliberate targeting of moral, spiritual, and civic leaders who challenge it.

That such individuals are now reportedly marked for assassination highlights the advanced stage of the genocide and the shrinking space for dissent within Nigeria.

More urgently, it reinforces the need for immediate local and international action to halt the killings, dismantle terror networks, and protect those whose only crime is refusing to be silent in the face of mass slaughter.
